hey guys
i got a few things to say...firstly, jun hao a.k.a. CB, my intentions of telling you those things are not to insult you or make you feel bad and the last thing i'd wanna do is to look down on our own players. I personally thought that was advice so that it can make you a better player. I improved on my play through both experience and advice and i take every single piece of advice i get positively in the hope that i can become a better player than i was. GUYS, we need to keep telling each other our faults AND our strengths so that we can improve on each others' play and improve steadily as a team. Never EVER reject the person who gave you that advice. Hazwan included. Each and every one of us can keep our mouth shut and not advise anyone if we want to but i'm sure we try to make each other better. There are no self proclaimed 'good players' cuz i can safely say nobody in our team is a 'pro' hockey player. And that includes myself. I'm comparing everyone to seriously good players in singapore and around the world. If you dont want advice then just say it. And please don't say things like "if any one think u r realli darn good.. den.. y stay in this team?" Cuz if you say that many more times then there probably would be people quitting the team. Your choice.
Elson, you are learning to be a good forward. I was in your position last year and i felt the same pressures so i can safely say i know how you feel. What i can say is that you learn through experience and from your mistakes so look at it this way...the more mistakes you make, the better you will be...sounds good? Keep it cool and keep learning...you'll be a great player...your persistence will definately pay off...you've greatly improved since last time so keep up the pace and maintain the level of improvement...
About the game against NUS and temasek (i think), don't take it SO seriously cuz we're still learning as a team. Like our manager says, we need to bond as a team more and learn each others' style of play...we'll get used to each other soon enough. Actually after those games, i don't think all of us were depressed...we were just more tired cuz we played three or four matches almost back to back...who wouldn't be tired? So chill out and play hard...
One more thing...i'm a very blunt and straightforward person...and my words aren't always nice and flowery (especially on the pitch and in trainings) so i hope all of you can understand that and not take it to heart...i honestly just want to make the team better...
